My Testimony
I was raised in a secular environment and identified as an atheist. However, a quest for truth led me to immerse myself in philosophy and psychology, seeking to comprehend the complexities of the mind, the world, and my own existence. During this pursuit of truth, I had a near death experience where I was almost murdered - triggered a panic attack and a spiritual crisis. Facing mortality, I realised the emptiness of my life, lacking purpose, ambition, and direction. I felt adrift, carried aimlessly by the currents of life. Struggling with ongoing mental health issues stirred on by substance misuse, particularly weed and psychedelics, I teetered on the brink of insanity multiple times. Despair often engulfed me, accompanied by suicidal thoughts. In a moment of profound despair, I reached out to my friend Davina, a Christian, expressing my perception of a collective crisis of a lack of meaning that is plaguing humanity. Sensing an opening to discuss God, Davina shared the principles of Christianity: serving a higher purpose, finding fulfilment in helping others, and transcending self-centred pursuits. During our conversation, I suddenly exclaimed, “Davina, I don't know if I'm crazy, but I think I feel God!' This encounter of Gods presence occurred on June 24, 2023, a pivotal moment that led me to attend my current church (@eternallifeministriesuk) the following Sunday. There I witnessed the tangible power of God through healings, miracles, and prophecy, defying my previous disbelief. Since that transformative encounter, my life has been irrevocably changed. I'm deeply grateful for the unwavering support of those who've accompanied me on this journey, but above all, I'm grateful to God for His continuous presence, intervention, and guidance.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
May God bless you abundantly."
